Founded in 1982, Flagship Properties is Coronado's premier resort-home developer and broker. John O'Brien, Flagship's founder, has built an award-winning company specializing in developing and renovating classically-inspired residential properties primarily in Coronado and the La Playa region of San Diego.

Carrie O'Brien, RE Broker, is responsible for the sales and marketing activities of Flagship Properties. She is a member of the Coronado Association of Realtors and currently serves on its Board.  She works with buyers and sellers of residential real estate in Coronado and surrounding areas including Point Loma and La Jolla.  She has been successful in assisting sellers in maximizing the sale prices of their homes through extensive marketing as well as identifying improvements that increase their value.  She also works with buyers by matching their needs with a home’s potential, particularly helping clients understand the cost/benefit of improvements, additions and historic home designation prior to purchase.  She and her husband, John  are actively involved in the community and have 2 children that attend Coronado High School.

Flagship’s construction activities are overseen by Mark Blore, a licensed general contractor. Mark was previously a U.S. Navy SEAL before becoming a contractor and a Flagship Partner. He has worked in real estate and construction since 1994. Mark received a B.S in Criminal Justice from National University.

Amanda Preston joined Flagship Properties this year as a sales agent.  She assists in marketing and sales activities as well as rentals. She is a member of the Coronado Association of Realtors. Amanda grew up in London, England and moved to Coronado with her husband 14 years ago.  She has 2 children attending Bishops School in La Jolla.

Joining Flagship in 2007 is H. Delaney (Buddy) Young. Buddy retired from NBC Universal after 36 years in Finance, Television Station Management and Construction. Buddy was introduced to the San Diego market when he managed the relocation and construction of the NBC Studios in downtown San Diego in 2003-4.
