Located on a beautiful triangular corner lot, this four-bedroom cottage was restored to its original English Tudor beauty. Local legend has it that the home was once occupied by Charlie Chaplin. It’s extensive renovation started with completely re-wiring and re-plumbing the house. The kitchen was expanded and updated with new Dacor ovens, built-in refrigerator and cherry cabinets. The Master bedroom now has a walk-in closet and marble bath. An upstairs attic was converted into a kid’s playroom.
Located in Coronado Estates at Sunset Park, this new 6-bedroom home was completed and sold by Flagship Properties in 2004. This luxurious home boasts white water ocean views from both floors as well as 4 of its 6 bedrooms. The living room, dining room and kitchen overlook the park and Coronado Beach. The master bedroom has a marble bath, private balcony, cedar walk-in closet and adjacent sitting room with ocean and golf course views.
1118 Loma Lane is a historically-designated home designed by renowned architect Irving Gill, and built in 1898. As any 100+ year old home, it needed extensive work, when Flagship Properties renovated it in 2005. The challenge was to preserve the special features incorporated in Gill’s original design, while making the house livable, since electricity and interior plumbing were not features included in the original home.
Located down the street from 739 Tolita, the O’Brien’s acquired a 950 square foot home built in 1916 on very small lot measuring 40X60. Constrained by the small site, Flagship placed the public space (living room, dining room and kitchen) upstairs and surrounded by a wrap-around porch. This solution provided better light and better views for the traditional gathering and entertaining areas within the house.
Flagship acquired this home and renovated it including removing the second story. The kitchen, living room and dining room were all remodeled and a new sun room was added on the main floor. Upstairs a new master bedroom was created with views across Glorietta Bay and a marble master bathroom. An additional bedroom and bath were added which had a separate entrance. However, one of the best features of the house was the addition of the upstairs lounge and porch with gorgeous views of the bay
